Jasmin is bilingual in Tagalog and English and has extensive experience and training in working with underserved low-income individuals and families in community mental health clinics. She implements trauma-informed care in her practice, having worked with culturally diverse clients with moderate to severe mental health concerns.
She supports adults navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, and identity-related stress. Jasmin has experience working with clients impacted by systemic injustice, individuals in the entertainment industry, veterans, and those who are new to therapy. She welcomes clients of all genders and has extensive experience supporting men in building emotional awareness and deepening their connection to themselves and others.
Her clinical experience includes work with San Diego County at CRF Nueva Vista Family Services and South Bay Guidance Center, where she developed strong skills in safety and risk assessment. Jasmin is primarily process-oriented, helping clients explore and make meaning of their past and present experiences while building insight into patterns that shape their lives. She integrates EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), psychodynamic, person-centered, and positive psychology approaches, while also incorporating CBT and DBT-based coping skills when helpful. Her work supports clients in developing a deeper understanding of themselves, increasing emotional regulation, and creating meaningful, values-aligned change.
